  1. Do all the KE2 Controllers have power? (Is the display lit up?)
    1. YES:
      1. Is KE2 Controller Communicating with GridPoint?
        1. Check address of controller, 50 and 51 for two freezers and 52 for cooler.
          1. KE2 Low Temp - hold “Back” for 3 seconds and scroll to Adr
          2. KE2 Temp - hold “Enter” for 3 seconds and scroll to Adr
        2. Check communication cables for damage
        3. Check if the daisy chain has been broken - this splice can take place inside the controllers or on top of the Freezer/Cooler
        4. Check the baud rate converter located near GridPoint Controller and confirm device still has power and wires connected (Comm 1=KE2 Chain, Comm 2=RS485 to controller). Check communication cables from baud rate converter to GridPoint device (HUB, 1204EX, EC2000)
    2. YES – ERROR CODE DISPLAYING
      1. If Red or Amber indicator light, look up error code below and fix issue
KE2 Low Temp Error Codes for Amber/Red Light
        • AtSA = Air Temperature Sensor Alarm
        • CLSA = Coil Temperature Sensor Alarm
        • HtA = Hight Temperature Alarm
        • LtA = Low Temperature Alarm PF = Power Failure
KE2 Temp Error Codes for Amber/Red Light
        • SSA = Shorted Sensor Alarm
        • OSA = Open Sensor Alarm
        • HtA = Hight Temperature Alarm
        • LtA = Low Temperature Alarm
    3. NO:
      1. Has the system been serviced recently? Determine why unit may have been left powered off.
      2. Check breaker panels for tripped breaker for cooler/freezer
      3. Check evaporator disconnect inside cooler/freezer to confirm evaporator was not turned off on accident
      4. Check for coil sensor wires or any other wires in the side cabinets that may have melted or shorted out because of bad placement.
      5. Check compressor cabinet for any sign of wiring changes from previous technicians attempting to put system back on time clock control.
  2. Other issue: Incorrect Set Points/Adjust Set Points
    1. KE2 Low Temp – Hold “Enter” for 3 seconds and scroll to tS. Freezer set point = -10F
    2. KE2 Temp – Hold “Enter” for 3 seconds and scroll to tS. Cooler set point = 35F
