This article will guide you through troubleshooting an EC2000 controller with a screen that is not displaying properly (ex. blank, black, or white screen).

Black Screen
- Locate the controller.
 - Check for power LED.
- If there is a power LED, skip to step 5.
 
 - Inspect the power supply.
- Confirm barrel connector is firmly connected to the power input.
 - Confirm plug is firmly in place at the outlet/power supply.
 - Check breaker to ensure power.
 - Unplug the power supply from the device or the wall and wait five minutes before plugging them back. Wait for the device to power back on.
 
 

- Is there physical damage?
- If yes, contact GridPoint Support for additional details.
 
 
- Perform a soft reset.
- With a paperclip or something of a similar diameter, press the reset button located to the immediate left of the ethernet cable on the underside of the controller.
 - Confirm power. If not powered on, contact GridPoint Support for additional details.
