This article will guide you through troubleshooting a frozen or laggy EC2000 touch screen.

Frozen or Laggy Screen
- Locate controller.
 

- Perform a soft reset.
- With a paperclip or something of a similar diameter, press and hold the reset button located to the immediate left of the ethernet cable on the underside of the controller.
 - Confirm If not connected, continue to the next step.
 
 
- Perform a hard reset.
- Check ethernet cable connection at controller.
- Ethernet cable connects on right side of controller, along the (Image 1.2)
 - Inspect ethernet cable for damage.
 
 - Unplug ethernet cable.
 - Unplug power cable and wait 5 minutes.
 - Plug power cable back in and wait 5 minutes.
 - Plug ethernet cable back in.
 - Confirm connectivity. If not connected, continue to next step.
 
 - Check ethernet cable connection at controller.
 

- Touch one area on the screen and hold on a blank area for (approximately 20-30 seconds) until screen calibration menu appears.
- If they have a pen top or stylus, it will work better than using a If not, a finger works.
 
 - Calibrate touchscreen.
- Following the on-screen instructions, touch the crosshairs on the screen with a pen top or stylus. (Image 1.3)
 
 - Test to confirm calibration succeeded.
