This article will guide you troubleshooting an offline EDGE controller.

Controller Offline
- Locate the controller.

- Confirm power LED (green, solid- lefthand LED) is on.
- If power LED is not on, check the 12VDC Adaptor.
- Check for physical damage.
- Unplug from EDGE and plug back in.
- Unplug wall plug from 120V receptacle socket and plug back in.
- If there is another spare wall socket, try moving the 12VDC plug to the empty socket.
- Confirm power to wall socket through breaker.
- If after all above steps there is still no power, we will need to replace the 12VDC Adaptor.
- Contact GridPoint Support for more details.
- If power LED is not on, check the 12VDC Adaptor.
- If a new 12VDC Adaptor is used and there is still no power, the EDGE controller will need to be replaced.
- Contact GridPoint Support for more details.
- If power comes on, continue to next step.
- Confirm heartbeat LED (blue, flashing- righthand LED) is on.
- This indicates that the EDGE firmware is running, and the device is fully booted up.
- If there is no blue light, reach out to GridPoint Support for more details.
