HVAC Health Notifications
Understand HVAC health notifications and what they mean for your HVAC system.

Understanding HVAC health notifications is essential for efficient HVAC functionality. While GridPoint systems help our customers control their energy usage, improperly functioning HVAC units will not run effectively or efficiently. We recommend units with issues be serviced or repaired by HVAC technicians.
Where Can I See HVAC Health Notifications?
Log in to GEM from a browser or the GEM app for iOS or Android.
In Browser
- Select a site.

- Go to Data > Real Time > HVAC.
- The Health column should show in your Real Time Data view. If not, follow these instructions:
- Click the Choose Columns button (three (3) horizontal lines) at the top right of the page.
- Click the Health option in the left column and click Add then Submit.

- The health column will show any HVAC health notifications currently impacting your HVAC units. Use the definitions in HVAC Health Notification Description below to determine the issue.
Note HVAC Health issues will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of your HVAC units. GridPoint Customer Support can help identify when HVAC Health issues began, but cannot resolve these issues remotely. GridPoint cannot service HVAC Health issues and recommends calling an HVAC technician for service or repair.
In App
- Select a site.

- Tap the RTD (Real Time Data) tab. Then tap where it says “Tap here to load real time data”.

- Tap HVAC.

- The Health column should show in your Real Time Data view. If not, follow these instructions:
- Tap the Choose Columns button (three (3) horizontal lines) at the top right of the page.
- Tap the Health option and tap Ok.

- The health column will show any HVAC health notifications currently impacting your HVAC units. Use the definitions in HVAC Health Notification Description below to determine the issue.
