Confirm Power Confirm Communications Check Photo Sensor

Confirm Power

  1. Be sure source breaker is on.
  2. Check voltage with voltmeter and confirm 120VAC at the LCA L and N terminals.
  3. Check 24VAC Transformer connections at the J1 terminals.
  4. Confirm voltage with a voltmeter.

Confirm Communications

  1. Confirm controller programming.
  2. Confirm schedule in GEM?
  3. Confirm there is no Comm Error present via the touch screen.
  4. Check/replace Cat5 wiring to HUB, and then back to controller.
  5. Check address/dip switch settings on LCA.
    1. SW4 dip switches on the control card are used for addressing and configuration.
    2. Set LCA address to 1. If multiple LCA’s, do not duplicate addresses.
    3. Set switch 6 to ON at the last LCA in a chain. If only using one LCA, set switch 6 to ON.

Check Photo Sensor

  1. Confirm proper wiring of photo sensor.
