This article will guide you through addressing an offline dishwasher issue with a customer.

Device Offline
- Verify that the dishwasher is on and has power provided to it.
- If the dishwasher will not power on, the customer’s facilities team will need to address the issue as we do not support issues with the dishwasher itself.
- Check GEM programming for the controller and verify that the ModBus 2 programming is set appropriately in the configuration module.
- Remove the wires from Modbus 2 coming from the dishwasher and test them with a multimeter.
- If the reading is 2-3V DC, then the dishwasher provides the proper reading. Replace the wires on ModBus 2.
- Turn the dishwasher back on and check GEM to see if any data is being read by the device. If not
- If there is no reading, check the continuity of the wiring to the dishwasher.
- If there is continuity to the dishwasher, direct the customer to their facilities team to address an issue with their dishwasher.
- If there is no continuity to the dishwasher, the wire will need to be replaced.
- If the reading is 2-3V DC, then the dishwasher provides the proper reading. Replace the wires on ModBus 2.
