Systems - GridPoint Intelligence - HVAC Health Tests

This article will provide the steps required to properly run HVAC Health Tests, also known as heat and/or cool tests. These tests can also be scheduled to repeat as needed.

Scheduling HVAC Health Tests

Important: When running HVAC Health Tests, always use the scheduler. Do NOT apply new comfort settings to a site or asset to run a test. This can permanently change the schedule and cause discomfort issues for the site.

 
  • Login to GridPoint Intelligence.

Individual Asset Scheduling

  • Click the Sites button on the lefthand sidebar.
  • Click on the HVAC Tests Page button for the desired HVAC asset.
  • After clicking ‘Schedule HVAC Test’, you will be brought to the asset or assets HVAC Test Page.
  • Click the ‘Set Up HVAC Test’ button.
  • After clicking ‘Set Up HVAC Test’, you will see the test setup pop-up window.
    • Fill the information out as desired.
      • Click heating, cooling or both to run the corresponding tests.
      • Choose the date and time.
      • Select if you wish for this test to repeat (Do not repeat or annual).
      • Determine if you want to ignore outdoor conditions at the time of the test to allow it to run.
  • Click Submit.

HVAC Health Tests last 30 minutes per test (i.e. 30 minutes for Cooling and 30 minutes for Heating)

 

 

Bulk Asset Scheduling

  • Click the Assets button on the lefthand sidebar.
  • In the Filter Assets dropdown, select ‘Show HVAC Assets’.
  • Select the site asset or assets to schedule the HVAC Health Test using the checkboxes.
  • Click ‘Apply Bulk Action’.
    • Click ‘Schedule HVAC Test’
  • After clicking ‘Schedule HVAC Test’, you will see the test setup pop-up window.
    • Fill the information out as desired.
      • Click heating, cooling or both to run the corresponding tests.
      • Choose the date and time.
      • Select if you wish for this test to repeat (Do not repeat or annual).
      • Determine if you want to ignore outdoor conditions at the time of the test to allow it to run.
  • Click Submit.
