Equipment – Thermostats – TS150W – Fan Issues
This article will guide you through troubleshooting when a customer is calling in to troubleshoot fan issues with a TS150W thermostat. This is for situations where there are true performance issues and not when the customer is requesting a temporary override circulate air.

Fan Issues

- Locate the TS150W Thermostat
- Check that the screen is illuminated.
- If there is no power to the screen, access the power issues article.
- Is there physical damage?
- If there is physical damage, contact GridPoint Support for more details.
- Check the thermostat’s fan mode and verify it is in either “on” or “auto”, depending on what the customer is expecting to have.
- Fan is “on” mode: This means that the fan will be always blowing. Checking the schedule can verify when this status should be set to “on”.
- Fan is “auto” mode: This means that the fan will turn on when in either cool or heat mode.
- Check Cool/Heat Set Points.
- Verify that the Override Status within GridPoint Intelligence or GEM is not related to Demand Response leading to a temporarily adjusted setpoint. If it is, educate the customer on this setting.
