Inaccurate Temperature Readings

  • Locate the TS150W Thermostat.
  • Determine whether the temperature in question is being read by a ZSM associated to the thermostat or the thermostat itself.
    • If the temperature is being read by the ZSM, review this article Equipment - ZSM - Troubleshooting Inaccurate Tasseron ZSM Temperature.
    • To change the control strategy, open the Information tab on the TS150W asset in GridPoint Intelligence.
    • Scroll to the bottom. Click Edit Control Strategy.
    • Determine if you want a Single or Average control strategy.
      • For single, select the controlling device.
      • For average, select all devices to average.
    • Click Save.
  • If it is the thermostat temperature reading, breathe on the sensor to see if the temperature fluctuates. Test the reporting temperature against a thermometer in the same exact spot.
  • If the temperature fails to fluctuate or continues to read incorrectly, power cycle (disconnect power supply and reconnect after thirty seconds) and check the reported temperature.
  • If it continues to report incorrectly, contact GridPoint Support for more details.
