Factory Reset

  • Locate the TS150W thermostat
  • Reset the thermostat
    • Diagnostics > Navigate to the right until you can select “Restart Device”
  • When the device is restarted, go to the hamburger settings menu and choose “Setup”
    • This is only available for a certain amount of time after resetting. If you cannot find it, reset the thermostat again.
  • Go to Comms Settings.
  • If the thermostat is connected to an EDGE's WiFi network, you won't see Factory Reset — you'll see Reset Network.
    • Select Reset Network.
    • After you Reset Network or if you're currently using RS-485, you'll see the Factory Reset option.
  • Select Factory Reset.

What a Factory Reset does-

It will reset:

  • units to Fahrenheit
  • heat/cool setpoints to 69°/74°
  • temp offset to 0 (i.e. adjustment that gets applied to sensor readings)
  • comm timeout to 15 minutes
  • provisioning mode to true (i.e. advertising its SSID, ready for wireless connection)

It will not alter:

  • assigned modbus address
  • hvac type / fuel type / valve type
  • RS-485 vs. WiFi
  • user-defined control strategy
