Equipment – Thermostats – TS150W – Heating Issues

  • Locate the TS150W Thermostat
  • Check that the screen is illuminated.
    • If there is no power to the screen, access the power issues article.
  • Is there physical damage?
    • If there is physical damage, contact GridPoint Support for more details.
  • Check the thermostat’s mode and verify it is in either “heat” or “auto”.
    • To check at the thermostat physically, check to see if the “heat” icon is illuminated.
    • Check within GEM or GridPoint Intelligence.
  • Check Heat Set Point.
    • The heat will only run if the heat set point is higher than the zone temperature.
      • If the heat set point is higher than the zone temperature and the thermostat will not run, contact GridPoint Support.
      • If the heat set point is equal to or lower than the zone temperature, there do not appear to be heating issues. Align if they are requesting a temporary override or if they’re seeking to change the heat set point (and verify that they’re authorized to do so).
    • If the thermostat is still not functioning as anticipated, contact GridPoint Support.
